What's included
Cross-platform development
We build for iOS and Android simultaneously using cross-platform frameworks, reducing cost by 30-40% compared to separate native builds:
Flutter
PrimaryGoogle's framework. 46% developer adoption. Single codebase compiles to native iOS and Android. Excellent performance and UI consistency.
React Native
AlternativeMeta's framework. 35% adoption. JavaScript-based, great ecosystem. Good if you have existing React/JS developers.
Our focus: MVP & boutique apps
We specialise in simpler mobile apps with focused functionality. This isn't a limitation—it's intentional:
MVP validation
Test your app idea with real users before investing in a full build.
Internal tools
Staff apps for field workers, inventory, or specific workflows.
Customer self-service
Booking, account management, or loyalty apps.
Companion apps
Mobile extension of an existing web platform.
What we don't build: Complex marketplaces, social networks, games with heavy graphics, AR/VR apps, or apps requiring complex hardware integrations. These need larger teams and different expertise.
Important: Mobile app realities
Challenges to be aware of (expand to read)
App store approval
Apple and Google review all submissions. Expect 1-7 days for review, with possible rejections requiring fixes and resubmission.
Ongoing maintenance
iOS and Android release major updates annually. Apps may need updates to maintain compatibility. Budget $2,000-5,000/year minimum.
Backend/server costs
Most apps need a backend. Expect $20-200/month for hosting, plus development time for API changes.
Developer accounts
Apple: $149 AUD/year. Google: $35 AUD one-time. You'll need these to publish.
Version fragmentation
Users don't always update. You may need to support older app versions while pushing users to upgrade.
User acquisition
Building an app doesn't guarantee downloads. Marketing and ASO (App Store Optimisation) are separate efforts.

Packages
How we work together
Requirements
Define core features, user flows, and MVP scope. We'll push back on scope creep.
Design
UI/UX design with mobile-first patterns. You approve screens before build.
Development
Iterative builds with regular demos. We use a staging app for your review.
Backend
API development if needed (we typically use Supabase for cost-effective backend).
Testing
Internal testing, then TestFlight (iOS) / internal testing track (Android) for your team.
Submission
App Store and Google Play submission. We handle the process and respond to any review feedback.
